The NNFCC is working in collaboration with the CIKTN and the FROPTOP biochemical special interest group, and is supported by Lincolnshire County Council, to run a workshop entitled “The Bio-future” as part of the annual East Midlands iFestival.

This FREE workshop aims to present the latest developments in the use of renewable raw materials in the East Midlands region.  There will also be a mini side exhibition; exhibitors currently include:

• Green Fuels Ltd.
• University of Leicester
• Stage Coach
• NNFCC

The event will be of significance to anybody with an interest in the use of renewable feedstocks and will see speakers from companies and academic institutions within the region.  Topics covered include renewable chemicals, biofuels, industrial biotechnology and biopolymers.
