‘Developing and optimising technologies for CCS’

The aim of the workshop is to bring together delegates from academia, industry and other regional and national organisations to:

• Discuss development of CCS generally and also focus on the Yorkshire and Humber region
• Highlight key challenges for the industry and the RD&D opportunities
• Showcase current research expertise and ongoing programmes in this area CCS within Yorkshire Universities 
• Discuss what are the key challenges and priority areas for the industry and how can expertise and facilities within Yorkshire Universities be best utilised to help provide solutions and de-risk the development or how can Yorkshire Universities complement and add value to existing UK activities

It is of course  also a great opportunity to learn more about some of the CCS related research at the universities and engage with other stakeholders.
